The model you showed I'm unfamiliar with, but 9443 could possibly be the Ref number which would date it to the early 70ties.
GP had quite a number of vintage alarm watches in the 60ties and 70ties, most had been based on the GP Caliber 11, which is based on an A Schild movement. Those typiically were manual wound, had a rotating disc for the alarm setting with an opening on the dial above 6 o'clock and no date window.
I own a Traveller II Alarm watch from the late 90ties (photo below) which is automatic, with date display and GMT/Second timezone. Here the alarm is set with an extra hand.
As far as I can tell, the crowns look original, the vintage Alarm crowns from GP did have an "A" on the crown that sets the alarm.
