That?s a nice one and i like these a lot

Hi,

now that?s quite a pretty SeaHawk!

That?s a classic look and it was for sure a full size men?s model back then. These cases are quite interesting and sort of an artefract of a technique long gone, but based on the dial condition they worked quite good to protect the dial and movement from incoming moisture.
With a GP06 having 15 jewels it?s quite an early version, probably 1940?s.

I really like this case shape with the soft curves of the lugs; that?s a very attractive case.

Just make sure the spring of the Incabloc shock protection (the little gold coloured spring) is not broken, otherwise it will loose it?s function and not properly fix the cap jewel.

Nice one! Thanks for sharing!

Greetings from germany,

Peter

I like the very "antique" looking aged dial. It's a big watch....

That?s an interesting piece

Hi Syuji, interesting! I suspect this to be a 1940?s GP 27 or GP 30 calibre (based on an AS1130 ebauche), of which GP had several versions. These are 13 ligne (almost 30mm) movements and quite nice ones, very reliable and sturdy. Here?s another one: What ...

Syuji: Thanks for sharing so many of your watches with us. I like nothing better than to see watches that people in the Forum have and you seem to have many interesting GPs. Please, keep them coming! Regards, Will

If you say so, here's another vintage GP!

This is a smaller size (32mm diameter without crown) seahawk....

Wow! That's a nice Sea Hawk . . .
