Opus 5 pictures taken with Canon MPE65
Aug 16, 2006,06:06 AM
After several months on the wrist, here are a series of pics of the Opus 5 taken with the Canon MPE65 lens.
It is a flawless execution. Any blemish seen on the edges of the cube carrying the number 5 is a reflection from the crystal of the watch.
Notice the extreme detail of the minute hand as it is 100% parallel to the surface of the arcap.
The degree of finish to the edges of the cubes, and the sharpness of the hands.
This watch speaks for Harry Winston and URWERK in their pursuit of the ultimate high end.
I always tend to notice the finish of the hands...in particular RM watches, that is the one singular department that I find needs some immediate attention.
This particular watch is almost flawless, I have not found any blemishes whatsoever...especially under this very high magnification.
If more watches were made to this extreme degree...I anticipate Volker Vsycocil and of course, already Dufour.
