There´s a small variety of models; actually GP did hundreds of models in those years and some did come with this "suspense" case.
GP did so over many years, not the least because at some point it was merged with a case-making facility. This may be interesting for some older units:

Some models came with an inner shielding and GP caliber 42 as well, such as this cushion-shaped ChronometerHF of early 1970's:

Good Day, I am doing research on this vintage marvel of horology: GP GYROMATIC CHRONOMETER HF, 39j, 36000 bph, caliber 42 with "suspension case" that GP introduced in 1968/70 I would really appreciate if Peter and other GP gurus could email me with detail...

Any input on the "pressure case" you stated in earlier posts that was introduced by GP in 1968/1970. Did GP make any Gyromatic Chronometers HF with the 39j,36000, caliber 42 usinf this so special "pressure case"? Any scans or ref. nos available? Tks Nikos
