Girard Perregaux

I had the pleasure of seeing the following pieces in the metal last week. First up is my favorite from Girard-Perregaux's 1966 Collection, the palladium Small Seconds. Sorry for all the plastic-covered movement shots! I absolutely love how Girard-Perregau...  

Tourbillon under 3 Goden Bridges... There is another one wich is haunting me, and maybe did you see it? The World Time Tourbillon, with the tourbillon in the case back, a plain dial, with the WT complication, of course, and just a small second at 6. If I ... 

...but the Tourbillon with Three Bridges is quite lovely. A good choice for you, Nicolas! The distinctive tri-bridges cannot be mistaken. The watch is elegant, but also has a certain boldness that is hard to explain. A unique luxury watch. Cheers, Daos

The sheen and depth of the dial has to be experienced to fully appreciate it. The watch was too large for me, but perhaps you could pull it off! Cheers, Daos

I just love the rectangular case on the 1945. And that dial has enough features to present a "just right" look for a complication - not too simple, and not to congested. Thanks, Daos, for your most informative post. Really enjoyed reading it .

I love these 1966 Collection pieces in palladium. The colors are stunning in person. The XXL was too large for me too. If they made that dial in a regular 1945 case I'd be sorely tempted! The Three Bridges tourbis are always lovely to see in the metal! Ch... 

the palladium 1966 is refinement made manifest! GP's 1966 is yet another piece that is on my shortlist... thanks for sharing Jason
