Thanks, but puzzled !

Hello Peter,

Thanks for your quick respons, I understand that the watches which are displayed in the yearbook 2000/2001 are the same, that would correspond with the fact that the black dial of the watch I'm considering to buy is displayed in the yearbook (code 6756) although with yellowgold numbers (mine will be whitegold because of the whitegold case) . But I'm little puzzled because you write that the full reference code started with 25990 and yet your'e saying that there's not been a reference code 2599xx, could you explain this a little further ? I'm asking because I understand that one sometimes makes mistakes by buying a Vintage1999 in stead of a Vintage 1945 model although I also understand that they don't differ except of the back (screws with the 1999 and pressed back with the 1945)... Bottom line, I would like to know what I'm buying...

Do you by any chance know where I could find an old pricelist so I could check the original price (in 2006) of the Vintage 1945, 2599 Chrono in whitegold ? It seems I can't find any reference other than the 25990.0.53.6056, also a whitegold Chrono with leather strap which according to a pricelist which was delivered with the 2000/2001 Milennium Yearbook was sold in 2002 at 13.568 Euro. I suppose that there was no big difference in price with different dials but I'm not sure...?

Hello, I'm considering buying a GP Vintage 1945 Chrono. I'm told the reference number of the watch is 2599. I'm in the posession of the GP Yearbook 2000/2001. The Vintage 1945 watches displayed in that catalogue have referencenummer 2599 0. Please, could ...

G'day, back then, the Vintage1945 line had less models than today. For mainly aesthetic reasons, all watches were engraved "2599" then. The full reference code started with 25990 yet, followed by numerals to indicate case material, dial colour and materia...
