In a way, I understand them. But these pieces have several objectives: to explain to a large audience that GP is a creative and skilled manufacture and that they removed the dust on the collection. I think it is important for them to kill this feeling that GP is an "ultra classic" brand. Of course, GP always had some daring pieces but at the end, it is the image that the people keep in mind which is important, not the reality. One of the challenges is to explain that GP is not afraid to enter new aesthetic territories.

Baselworld 2014: Girard-Perregaux, what a spectacular year!

 By: foversta : April 1st, 2014-11:10
Baselworld 2014 was an average year in my point of view. We will come back to this later. Having said that, a few big brands managed to propose a very solid 2014 collection. And among these brands, Girard-Perregaux was without any doubt, maybe with Blancp...

Thank you, Fx for these wrist shots! :)

The Vintage 45 open dial is a cool surprise! Wow! Love it!

What size? Looksl like it is a XXL case, if I compare it with the blue dial. One I don't like is the MR...I much prefer the sober one, which was unveiled 2 years ago. Which I found very attractive. Best, Nicolas

Yes it is a XXL case.

it didn t always meet the expectation… The tri axial is ok…..well in the wonder watches category of course, but somehow….dull..The tourbi is good,a collaboration of GP ,but the dial layout is not stunning. The neo tourbillon is nice ,but it would deserve a...

I think that PG is a perfect case for the Neo Tourbillon. It creates a great contrast with the bridges and the PG & grey atmosphere is one of the trends of the last years. It is also a way to remind the roots of GP. Fx

A lot of news...
