By: blomman Mr Blue : August 28th, 2014-02:59
Friends, Last week a friend of mine showed me this Gyromatic from the early-mid 50s. Gold plated top, staybrite case. Screw down case back and inside is the Cal GP 47 (based on ETA 1256) 18000 vph. Ref 6250, very similar to Ref 6169. Very nice! I tell hi...
LOL! Hiro.......!

only to mess up a spelling on the dial! Hahaha. Good spot detective Blomman. :) One of the reasons why I don't go vintage (yet) is my fear of getting fakes/frankens, etc. I am a wimp :( Cheers robin
Not a wimp, my friend....

that you hardly ever find franken Gyromatics, but refinished dials are common. I've owned a dozen and am selling out.
