A gold cap! Very nice!

Hi!

Nice find!
I like GP?s gold cap watches quite a lot; these are fine cases and more elaborately done as they may appear on the first look.

The ChronometerHF is a timeless classic; i?m pretty fond of your model, as it combines a case shape that was popular in the 50?s with a movement that was pretty innovative and a break-through in late 1960?s.

And your before&after pictures are quite stunning; it certainly came out very well! Well done!
I?d recommend to have a look at the movement to preserve the condition and function; it?s worth it and i?ve not seen this configuration of a ChronometerHF very often.

Greetings from germany,

Peter

Syuji: That's yet another great looking watch! It really cleaned up well. I use Pollywatch and find that with a little bit of elbow grease, it does a fantastic job. What do you use the emery board for? Regards, Will
