The Evo Moon

By: PeterCDE (registered) Sunday, August 27th, 2006

Available from November 2006 at selected authorized dealers, Girard-Perregaux added a new family member in the "Laureato" line with a decidedly sportive, but elegant model.

Since 2003, it is the first new model which features a non-chronograph. In addition, it combines three propietory achievements of GP´s R&D department; these are already sought after features in other models and this time, it´s the first watch to include all three:

The brand new moon phase indication is coupled to the barrel and provides an almost perpetual accuracy. The power reserve indication is driven by a planetary gear drive and the large date is well known from classic GP models like the ref. 25800 Vintage45.

All this comes with a brand new case and bracelet, which is hand-finished and slightly thinner than corresponding chronograph models.

The new models is referred to as reference 90185 and will be available in steel on bracelet with two variants sporting black and white dials.

It is already a much coveted model within the community of GP fans, who lovingly dubbed the new Laureato the "Evo Moon"!
