Dear enthusiasts,

I'm happy to share herewith the brand new ref. 49525, a new model for the "Classic Elegance" line by Girard-Perregaux. As promised, you will not only see those models and news communicated by Girard-Perregaux's official website and other internet communities here; this time my idea is to lay out the "whole story" to you even if it needs a little more time.

As you see, it is a very classic round watch that is a bit of a dress watch in first degree. What you do not see is the beautiful shape of the case; it is NOT a small watch even if some may feel that 38mm are a bit small - it doesn't wear such! Just like with the brand new Evo Moon, Girard-Perregaux just did the magic trick to create another watch where paper specs don't reveal the actual beauty and in nature, it is a very nice watch.

In addition, I think it's long over due for GP to introduce another classic three-hands watch. For a brand that's in the business for more than 210 years, such a piece is expected by many customers and the unobtrusive yet very charming and special look is actually the model i long felt to be in need in the portfolio.

Based on the very first reactions, the new "Vintage 1966" was well accepted and so i hope we will see it soon at the GP retailers near to you!

Greetings from Geneva,

Peter
