Friends,
I have been on radio silence for some days now. Sorry for that and thank you for not abandon or burn down the house while I was gone! I will only be briefly on/off for the next few days but after that I promise to be back, up and running again as usual.
The reason – last nine month has been a long wait for me, for us and now he is finally here: Blomman Junior!
The little guy popped out a few days back and we are finally back home from the hospital.
Only a couple of hour old and he already show both taste and integrity. I choose to wear my “first real watch” for this occasion but when I tried to introduce “my first” to “my first” he gave it the foot!
Well, my Sea-Dweller has been with me for 15 years (in a few weeks). I will make a new try to give it to him 18 years from now. Then, maybe he will like it better…
So, since he rejected the Rolex, I gave him a real watch: a GP Deep Diver!
Perfect for everyday life, tough, can take a toy car beating and drool tight down to the bottom of the bath tub!
He accepted, but only if I promise that he can the other one, pointing at the bigger 8867, when he gets older.
Well, we will see about that. One step at the time, Junior. But what I can promise you is that the ref 8953 will not be your last Deep Diver or divers watch for that matter…
Guess family and friends want to meet JR, so he will need a more fancy watch as well….
How about a JLC? How about E 168 RG for me and E 603 YG for Junior? Both from the JLC 125 Jubilé collection.
He approve, but only barely… Sending long looks at my Blue Chronometer HF…
Soon, my son, soon. First you need to learn how to walk…
We start small and then we will see…!
For everyday life:
On finer occasions:
I am not really sure how to express our happiness…
Best
Blomman
