Exclusive WORLD PREMIERE!!! Girard-Perregaux and ceramics - pushing the frontier...
Jun 14, 2005,08:08 AM
Dear enthusiasts and fans of Girard-Perregaux,
i?m happy to see our recent
coverage on Girard-Perregaux?s new ceramic ball bearings
found a lot of interest among our (both knowing and passionate) community of enthusiasts. This is truly a remarkable and important achievement; to see GP being the first to provide some real experience with these new developments makes me wear a GP piece even more proudly and strengthen my strong belief there?s a very promising future for the brand ahead.
And you may guess - introducing the ceramic ball bearings in the GP3XXX movement series was the first step only.
Actually GP is constantly pushing borders, as you may expect from a true manufacture and i?ll hopefully not disclose too much if i say there will be much more (and much larger) results of past and ongoing R&D work very soon.
Having said that, i?m very happy to provide you a glimpse of the latest coup; these
exclusive pictures,
not to be seen in ANY print or internet medium in the world so far, will tell a lot more than a thousand words:
