Both great but no 2 is greater
Very precise composition and more stimulating for the imagination. Is it a man or an alien? Planet of the apes?

Firstly position of the silhouette almost in the center of the light. And overall motion, bigger stride with arm forward.
As always context matters.
I would say that if you tone down the saturation on the 1st photograph, it would be my choice of the two. This is going to sound odd but as art, Number two is tougher as it feels manipulated but perhaps not manipulated enough?
2nd one
More generic and maybe less creative. Beyond technical positioning, I felt that the subject in the 1st one didnt offer enough originality to warrant extra points.
