This used to be an independent watchmaker in the late 80ies

They were quite innovative back then with a unique strap changing system. So you could easily swap from the leather strap to the Rouleaux type bracelet, something that took the rest of the industry twenty-five years longer to come up with. The watches were high quality, the dials guilloche from solid silver, the hands heat blued, some of the ETA and Valjoux movements used proprietary calendar modules. The company was founded by the Forget brothers based in Geneva. While the style today seems a little baroque, back then they were similar in styling and seemed to have been inspired by Breguet.

Because of the strap change system the Musee d‘horlogerie in LeLocle is said to have one of their watches in their collection.

At a Google search (and it wasn't easy! :-)) it appears to be a brand founded in the 1980's and liquidated in 2016. They certainly got the name right! ;-)

PS: A very good thing may come out of this, if after googling "forget watches" I'll stop getting C24 and the other reseller ads! ;-))

Hand-guilloche dial?

Any idea if the guilloche on the dial was hand-done or stamped? Looks a bit shallow so I'm guessing stamped?

Stamped (?)

Looking at the price point, my best guess would be; stamped.
