The last one I saw in person was at the watch store attached to The Westin Paris Place Vendome. Perhaps it's still there.

My view on the GP 1966 Chronograph "Doctor's Watch"
By: foversta : March 17th, 2013-04:22
This is a nice surprise proposed by Girard-Perregaux at the end of the first quarter of the year with a new interpretation of the 1966 Chronograph which has been created in the context of a limited series of 10 PG and 10 WG watches for Dubail, the famous ...
A successful variant...

It would, however, be very interesting to see a blue rather than red/orange theme used for the WG version. First world problem! Cheers, pplater.
Yes, it is a valid point.

A different colour atmosphere for the WG version would have create a larger difference between the two versions. Fx

I found it on the Web: You can notice a similar dial lay-out but also some differences like the 45mn minutes counter with an highlight on the first 3 minutes sections. Credits: Antique Scientifica Fx ...
It's a winner

I like this version better than the current 1966 40mm. As you point out, the inner orange circle is a significant improvement in helping the dial look more balanced as the min/sec counters are quite close together. Well done GP... too bad it is only for D...
Thanks Option!

So take the opportunity of an upcoming trip to France to see it! ;) fx
As for the language, GP did what UN did, and Patek does: The choice of french.

I quite like this watch. The only resereve I have, and I share your point, is about the auto movement, too small, and the orange ring, a tad too large, and was it necessary to choose this color, which contrasts too much with a Vintage watch which doesn't ...
Nice to see these variations ...

... on the 1966 Chronograph theme. Thanks for the live pictures, FX and for the press release, Nico. While I would have preferred a softer orange, these dials are certainly dramatic. I like the fonts and the overall dial proportions. And for an automatic ...
Thanks Andrew!

I often wear a Pulsimetric watch and it is really useful! Especially when I see a beautiful lady... ;) fx

Looks good!

I do have to say, I like the GP chronograph with the blue face more aesthetically. But I do think this one has a nice vintage look.
