I only have the two on bracelets now. But one is a full box set ...

Oh, Ref 8888 (the square)

you should show us a dedicated post and photos on Ref 8888, not often seen and such a unique watch. CC

I sold the Ref 8888

I had overlooked that in your first text

I just admire Ref 8888, love the numbers and the GP logo at 9 o'clock. CC

Very nice lineup!

I haven't worn it in a long time

I am thinking of getting it repaired again and passing it on. It's been a high maintenance watch and truth be told, I wonder if Baron's experience has been the same or if I let him have the good one. Anyone else have a 32A?

You should get it fix either way...

A working watch is much more pleasurable than a non-working... Same goes if you let it go. Best Blomman

Maybe I should let it go.

I prefer low maintenance watches and there lies the reason why first gen Chronometer HFs are thin on the ground.

Too bad....

Well, you if you do, you will have a hard time finding a new set! Best Blomman

I know.

By the time my watch was purchased on March 18, 1968, the Bureaux officiels de contrôle de la marche des montres had been closed down and COSC was being established. But it doesn't change that this watch was high maintenance by design.
