I think the revision of the Malte line is a success too - less cluttered, and I wasn't a fan of the rather ostentatious sword hands. I agree with Melvin regarding the small seconds - I should love it but prefer the  2 hand platinum version. Somehow it has a better symmetry IMHO. I do like the more rounded case - I wonder how many prototype variations VC tried out before going for this one?? The movement finish is, of course, sensational - this is VC after all. Being fussy, but a form movement would make it perfect

both the platinum limited edition & the small second. Usually on other watches, small second would have attracted me. But somehow, I preferred the platinum for this Malte series. I suspect it could be the complete Roman indices used by the platinum pi...
