I like the case, but the watch is not really a successful pairing of two icons. It could've been done in a compelling fashion, but this is just a mishmash -- and not in a good way!

An interesting Tourbillon for swimmers. GP / Panerai.

GP / Panerai?? Yes, you read well. There were soem connections between the 2 brands, as GP provided some movements to the italian brand, an Alarm, if I remember well, and... And a Tourbillon with three ( rose ) gold bridges encased in a 42 mm Radiomir cas...  

That is one fat golden bridge ;)

in the combination of this tourbillon with the 3 bridge design and the design of the rest of the watch, like the hands, and the case. They seem to not fit together but it is done in such a way that it becomes a likeable weirdness. Never knew before that G...

But you have to go back 15 years ago, at a time where Tourbillons were as rare as a tooth in a hence mooth. ;) It was quite daring, to say the least. Best, Nicolas
