Welcome here! :) During the 60's and 70's JLC provided watches/movements to several brands such as Fabre-Leube, Gübelin and GP. Often the movement was reworked by the barand, some more, some less... I have no info on numbers - please check between the lug... 

Reference number may be 9443

Thank you for the welcome to this excellent site and your response. There are no markings between the lugs; I am going to my watchmaker on Monday so I will be able to check the inside of the case back at that time. I did find another old post at another f...

first of all, a warm welcome, you come to the best place :) The model you showed I'm unfamiliar with, but 9443 could possibly be the Ref number which would date it to the early 70ties. GP had quite a number of vintage alarm watches in the 60ties and 70tie...

Hi, I have now received info from the Manufacture: 350 units in steel 350 units in gold plated Retail price at that point was CHF 450. Caliber GP 080 in based on the JLC Caliber 916 fitted with a Gyromatic winding system. Hope this helps. Best Blomman

JLC Cal 916 was in production approx from 1970 and replaced in the late 1990s by the Cal 918. Best Blomman
