Girard Perregaux Vintage 45 Mechanics Of Art. Steel or Rose Gold?

Since we had the possibility to see 2 versions of the Vintage 45 Mechanics of Art in the flesh, and while I am pretty sure our Blomman will come back to this Watch, I couldn't resist to share these 2 pictures with you.

2 pictures which raise a question: Which one do you prefer?

A surprising question I aksed to myself, since it is well known that I am a white metal case guy, but I must admit that the rose gold made a strong impression on me.

The rose gold brings a better and very pleasant contrast, moreover it blends tradition and modernity in a very interesting way.

The steel is colder, " darker " too, certainly more modern.

I surprised myself to love both of them. Even if I am pretty sure I would go for the steel, as you cannot fight against your real nature.

I also think I will very probably add a modern GP in my " collection ". Because I love the brand, and more importantly, I love their watches.

Now, I am hesitating among two or three of them.... This one is in the list.
