Pic of the day: The backside of the Constant Escapement

Friends,

I don't know how many times I have looked at this photo.
The movement is not decorated with beautiful patterns or Geneva bars, but each time I look at this pic I loose myself....

Have a great Tuesday!

And I will come back to it, later. If only I could fund it! Best, Nicolas

If we co-fund it....?

We could wear it half year each! ;) Yes, the price tag is a problem... Otherwise I think many of us here would get it in a heartbeat! :) Best Blomman

LOL! I promise.... ;) [nt]

it is a marvel of technology and innovation

if it only had a different dial design. While I understand the wish to show the CE mechanism at work, I do not like large watch cases with small time dials. Just my personal preference and taste.

I agree on the small dial....

But in this case I would make an exception! :) The Neo Tourbillon is another example where I would think it's OK with small dial... Best Blomman

My pleasure, Mark! :) [nt]

But, sorry NO.... But if I ever have +100 KEUR just laying around, I will definitely go for it! ;) Best Blomman

And the case back on the white gold piece....

Just a photo I have lying around...... I actually prefer the look of the Constant Escapement in rose gold. Bill ...

Exactly my cup of tea. ;) [nt]

And I agree with you, I prefer the CE in PG! :) Best Blomman

For a 48 mm watch it is quite wearable....

but alas, this was a one shot opportunity and not a daily pleasure for me: Bill ...

Indeed! The short, curved lugs....

Makes the watch wear smaller! I had the same pleasure with the PG not long ago... Unfortunately I had to give it back.... Best Blomman ...
