My Vintage Girard Perregaux " Arrow Indexes " is back!

Sep 15, 2014,14:06 PM

Back:

- Serviced,

- With a set of correct hands ( Only the hour hand was correct, by the way ).

- With a dial which has been cleaned.

This Watch is such a marvel. The domed soleillé dial is sublime, the reversed applied triangle indexes at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o' clock, and the original slightly facetted hands are very elegant.

In the same register, the case, very delicate, which is only 34 mm big, but which looks much bigger. I even thought it was 36 mm!

I will post a review on this Watch, one day. It is really Worth it.

But for the time being, I just want to show you how it was before:

And how it is, now:

I am happy!

Best,

Nicolas

Adding other watches in my collection... A curious year.... But improving the quality of my watches is not an uninteresting challenge! Best, Nicolas

Nico, i also have a vintage GP Gyromatic from the mid-60's. It's a little different style, and on a Freres style bracelet. I would love to know where you had your sserviced/cleaned as it's hard to find a professional to work on these old GPs in my area.

This is the GP Manufacture who took care of my watch.
