GP Traveller ww.tc Small Seconds

Aug 30, 2014,02:19 AM

Friends,

I just wanted to show you a quick shot of another version of the Traveller ww.tc, reference 49865.

This one don't have any chronograph or power reserve, only small seconds at six.
The cleanest version of them all?

Best
Blomman

There is one even nicer, but I will mention it in a featured post. This one is my 2d favourite WW TC. Top nice! Best, Nicolas.

I always see the chrono, which I like, but this one is so clean! Dave

Exactly!

I must say I like this clean version very much! :) Best Blomman

I like this one a lot

I much like the smaller size, and the chrono one didn't do it for me. I just find that too cluttered and it's a function I don't use much, if at all. The date - that's still arguable, while I like the position, it's too deep to get at one glance. This one...

Agree on size and function!

Thank you for your input, Richard. Agree this version is very tempting! :) Best Blomman

Love the wristshot

the small non-chrono is at the top of my wish list currently. While I do like the clean 49865 version, I will probably go with the 49851 with power reserve. Why? Because I like Power Reserve complication and it will be easier to achieve financially as th...

Thank you, CC!

Yes, the power reserve version is another great Traveller ! Hope you find yours soon! :) Best Blomman

Unlike with some of the vintage gems

it's not so much a question of "finding" but more of "funding" :(

The eternal dilemma....

Go for a big piece or go for several smaller.... A battle I fight every day! Best Blomman

Yes, a bit cleaner, purer.. But somehow empty dial in middle..So, not sure ! ;)

..Could also be in the proportions somehow (?); - in fact, also for me a date is no must .. So I'll wait for your & Nicolas's posts, but be assured, I'll be there.. ;) ;) Sometimes, the many variations make me dizzy: guess, only a systematic comparison mi...

That's why you need to take your time...

I wonder how it would look if the crowns were laid out like JLC's memovox? Too JLC? Cheers, John

John, I had the same thought....

Guess it would look very nice, but I guess GP would have to rework the movement quite a bit to achieve that.... Best Blomman

Maybe , maybe not

 By: crown comfort : August 31st, 2014-10:39
The new Traveller with WordlTime function has it all combined in one crown. So one could guess the rework was not so complicated. I think a crown and 2 and 4 is associated with Alarm watches and frankly the extra crown at 9 makes a Worldtimer special. I g...

... dial among GP Travellers. Small seconds sub dial adds to the charm. Compared to yours, my own TravellerĀ“s dial with small seconds and PR looks a bit cluttered! Lovely timepieces these GP Travellers!! Very cordially, Abel. ...

It is a lovely version you have, Abel!
