Two fresh pics of the Tri-Axial Tourbillon

Jul 03, 2014,00:10 AM

Friends,

I would like to share two more shots of the Tri-Axial Tourbillon.

I have been looking at these photos over and over again… A fantastic watch! smile

My initial thought was that the big “grey areas” surrounding the Tourbillon and the dial would have been nice to “cover” with something else than "grey space"…

But after getting used to the look of the watch I now think that it is a good thing that GP didn’t put a lot of “stuff” in-between.

Here seen from an angle where you can see the most of the grey fields.

The reason I think it’s good that they didn’t fill these spaces is that there is no need for more.

Each time I look at this watch my eyes goes 1) to the Tourbillon, 2) to the time-dial and 3) to the power reserve. After that my mind is already filled with impressions and my thoughts start racing…

“How will I ever be able to get…” wink

As for my eyes, well, they are back on the Tourbillon. Hypnotized by the evolvement of the Tri-Axis cage!

So, I ask myself, what more do I need on this watch? …

No, I am good! smile

And you?! What do you think?

Best

The problem with this watch is its size and thickness.

It doesn't like sleeves... But the dance of the tri axial tourbillon is really something. And I am not a tourbillon guy! I will post my pics one day. Thanks for this slice of dream, my friend. Nicolas

48 mm is BIG!

But if you have man size of a wrist it works... ;) Looking forward to your pics, my friend! Best Blomman ...

I think the grey fields do well to accentuate the complications.

This piece is so artistic in design. Having a solid "canvas" in the background really works for my eyes. Thanks for these fresh photos!

My pleasure, Michael ! :) [nt]
