Friends, Lets take a breath from BaselWorld and all the novelties You remember I told you that inside the 1968 Olimpico is a movement based on an Excelsior Park caliber? Not long ago I had the chance to take a side by side shot. The resemblance is there...

Yes, here I find the GP more appealing. The dial makes a big difference. The only difference, it seems. But more appealing. Best, Nicolas

Both are lovely in their own way. What's surprising how closely similar they are: case, shape of hands etc. I think the Olimpico has slightly the edge with a bit more vintage charme. CC

I find the EP to have a more "tool" look than....

the Excelsior Park for me, please, EP is one of these rare chronograph manufacturers, not an etablisseur. Rarer and not as celebrated as of the latter category. Call it reverse snobbery... :-) An EP movement in an EP watch. I also prefer the definition of...
