In fact, I was looking for this Watch for myself... A friend of mine got it for me, brought it in Paris, I was starting to check some points and my daughter, back home, took the Watch with her and thanked me for having found a nice Watch for her. She's 9 ...

LOL, it sounds familiar to me ...

but mine is already 10 :-) So far he tried only, but without big success ... so far ... Congrats to you that you have a daugter with such good taste and congrats to her to have such a generous father! Best, Oliver

Can we really complain. ;)

I know some guys with a huge collection, and none of their sons give a .... to watches. Best, Nicolas

I already knew your two ladies have great taste, my friend! :)

But that they have SUCH a good taste, I didn't know! Great catch, huge congrats to your daughter! :) What is the reference of the watch? I think the hands are OK. Have a look at this ref 7897: I have seen other versions of the hands (diamond shaped lume),...

I have my doubts, indeed. Can't find the reference, and not sure.

The hands are not really a problem, I have more doubts about the bezel. It doesn't look it is missing, and yes, I have the early S 58 in my mind, but not sure GP did one without the bezel. Best, and thanks for your kind words, my good friend. Nicolas

Did you check between the lugs at six?

By: blomman Mr Blue : August 25th, 2014-11:52
The ref is often hard to see, you need to use your loupe... Normally when the bezel is missing there is an edge holding the bezel on the case and the bezel left on the case is much lower and flat. This looks more like a normal angled bezel. Best, my good ...

I will as soon as my daughter comes back from the Night Club.

... as an old father I am and having passed for similar experiences when my children were younger I can say this kind of happenings bring joy and pride and the feeling that we are finding someone beloved to share our own "gustos" and passions. This old GP...

Great choice

And such a touching moment in your family life. Excellent first watch. I think she needs a certain titanium minute repeater as a second watch LOL. Regards, ED-209
