Having visited Metalem, Comblemine and Breguet Ateliers de guillochage,

they all use traditional methods. Metalem is pretty large and they craft superb dials. Breguet is also really impressive by the number of tours à guillocher, the number of craftsmen and the variety of the work performed (not only dials but movement parts for instance). I cannot think of any other brand with such a in-house department like this one.
These guilloché dials all involve extensive handwork, hence each one is different (which also depend on the craftsmen himself) and that's what makes their charm. The nature of the work requested by the brands also makes a difference. There are traditional patterns or more original ones like the Czapek guilloché ricochet... always interesting to see people experimenting new things.
