Yes, I think this dial could work slightly larger, maybe with a modified case with a thicker bezel. Would probably leave it at 35-36mm.

and yours is equally splendid. As for the change from more dressy to proper diver look. The Sea Hawk has been rather dressy well into the 70ies. As you know, since 1957, GP also had the Deep Diver line which continued into the 70ies covering the sportier ...
