A great chrono from GP, both inside and out. Can't get past the date though.....

At Girard Perregaux, they know how to make some nice dials.

During our GTG in Paris, we had, Blomman, CC and myself, some passionate discussions about Girard Perregaux, as you may guess... Generally, the impressive points are the cases and the dials which are both finished with great care. Look at this Chronograph...
Nicely captured

I was about to bet that you will remove the date window in photoshop. ;) While I'm not as radical on the date window, on this watch I 100% agree that it's a big problem, without it would be so much better. CC
I don't mind the date...

So, you can let me have it! ;) Here I agree - the date could have been with black background or not at all... But I would not mind having this one as it is either! :) Best Blomman
Can I play magic ?

I mean the same trick as the blomman one... Bring me the watch and within less than 8 sec, I am sure I can make it disappear ! ;-))) I would also take it, even with this bloody date ! Best, Mike
In fairness...

there are at least 99 reasons to own this Chrono and only one small argument against it, so overall the scale clearly tips towards that this is a splendid offering from GP that is worth considering regardless of the date. ;)
To sum up...

We ALL agree that it is a very nice chrono... in spite of the date We ALL agree that to find a beautiful Olimpico in very good condition is also the dream of many of us We also ALL agree that there are many other beautiful options in vintage GP in additio...
